Screen printing machines will inevitably experience various failures during long-term operation. Mastering quick troubleshooting methods can effectively reduce downtime losses and ensure production continuity.
In the screen printing process, missing printing and offset are two types of high-frequency faults. Missing printing is often caused by blockage of the screen openings or high paint viscosity. You can use a special cleaning agent to clear the screen, or add diluent in proportion to adjust the fluidity of the paint. For offset problems, it is necessary to focus on checking whether the clamping device is firm and whether the positioning pins are offset. At the same time, the synchronization speed parameters of the scraper and the screen should be calibrated to ensure that the error is controlled within the standard range.
The equipment air source pressure cannot be ignored either. Normal air pressure should be maintained between 0.6-0.8MPa. Insufficient air pressure will cause the actuator to deviate, causing inaccurate printing position or delayed action. In addition, proximity switch failure is a common reason why the machine does not operate in semi-automatic mode. It is necessary to regularly check the position of the sensing point and replace damaged switches or connections in a timely manner.
In terms of daily maintenance, it is recommended to clean the screen and sensors every day, calibrate synchronization parameters every week, and check the positioning accuracy of the servo motor every month. As a wearing part, the scraper is made of polyurethane and has a service life of about 150-200 working hours under continuous operation. If there is a chip on the cutting edge, it should be replaced in time. Regularly clean the supply pipeline and sealing ring to prevent uneven supply due to paint residue solidification, which can reduce the occurrence rate of failure from the source.
