Pad printing machine printing common problems and solutions

Most of the common problems in pad printing cannot be circumvented from the four links of "plastic head, ink, steel plate, and equipment". When defects occur, you can often find the crux more quickly by checking them in order.

The pattern is blurry and the edges are unclear

This is the most common problem and usually manifests itself as stuck lines, ghosting, or diffuse edges.

The pattern is incomplete, broken, and has sand holes

The performance is that the areas with ink are not printed, or white spots or filaments are broken.

Ink spillage, ink drag, and paste

It manifests as excess ink around the printed pattern, or ink marks when the scraper is returned.

Printed content position offset and ghosting

Double images are printed at the same position, or the pattern deviates significantly from the expected position.

Ink has poor adhesion and is easy to fall off

When testing after printing, the ink is easily scratched or wiped off.

Pad printing debugging is a systematic activity. When encountering problems, it is recommended to first check whether the rubber head is clean and damaged, then check whether the ink viscosity is appropriate, and finally check the steel plate and equipment parameters.
