OLAT Tells You That The Suction Power of The Vacuum Suction Workbench Is Insufficient, What Should You Do?

In the daily use of OLAT vacuum suction screen printing machine, we occasionally encounter the phenomenon that the suction power of the workbench is weakened or even completely lost. This not only affects the positioning of the substrate, but may also lead to quality problems such as printing pattern offset and blurred edges. The following is a systematic analysis of the causes and solutions for you.

1: Check whether the source of suction is normal

The most direct cause of insufficient suction may be a suction motor failure. Please first listen to see if there is any rotation sound from the motor when the equipment is running. If the motor does not rotate at all, it may be that the motor is burned out or the contactor that controls its operation is damaged. You need to contact after-sales service for replacement - 2-4.

2: Check the gas circuit control system

If the motor is running normally but the suction is still weak, the problem most likely lies in the air circuit control. Please check the following points:

Suction solenoid valve: This is a key component that controls suction on and off. If the solenoid valve is clogged or the coil is damaged, the airflow cannot pass through and needs to be cleaned or replaced -1-4

Inhalation selector switch: Poor contact of the switch will also cause signal transmission interruption. You can try multiple switching tests.

Three: Check pipelines and seals

Air leakage or blockage in the pipeline will also cause a decrease in suction power:

Check whether the connecting hose is damaged, bent or detached

Check whether the suction holes on the work surface are blocked by ink or dust. Use a fine needle or compressed air to clean them.

Check the sealing between the table and the substrate. If the table is scratched or deformed, sealing tape can be used to assist.

Preventive maintenance recommendations

To avoid recurring suction problems, we recommend that you:

Check the status of all air pipes, solenoid valves and sensors every week-3

Clean the remaining ink on the table after daily work, and use a cover to cover the vacuum suction plate to prevent debris from falling into -3

Regularly drain the moisture in the gas line to avoid impurities clogging the solenoid valve.
