Clogging of the screen is a common quality problem in screen printing, which occurs when ink cannot be transferred through the mesh normally, resulting in incomplete printing patterns. This problem is affected by many factors and needs to be solved systematically. The following are detailed solutions to the problem of network congestion:

Root cause analysis:
Defects in plate making process
Diazo photosensitive adhesive will undergo a dark reaction due to the influence of temperature and humidity. Emulsion not used in time will form a residual film layer in the mesh.
Insufficient density of the original film leads to light leakage and abnormal cross-linking
Direct high-pressure washing without using standard rinsing process after exposure can easily lead to film breakage and residue.

Slurry quality issues
When preparing color paste, the thickener and adhesive have poor compatibility, causing local blockage.
When the particle size of the paint particles exceeds 1/3 of the mesh diameter, it will directly cause physical blockage.
Excessive water hardness leads to excessive thickener dosage and a significant decrease in slurry fluidity
Improper operating controls
If the shutdown time is too long, the ink will solidify in the mesh and cannot be transferred normally after restarting.
Excessive squeegee pressure or angle deviation causes accumulation of residual ink
If the secondary exposure is not carried out in time after development, the residual latex will expand when exposed to water and block the mesh.
