Flexo printing has many connecting processes, such as screen printing, embossing and embossing, die-cutting, etc., and integrating each process into the flexo printing connection is a process of meeting challenges and winning.The '84mm dragon and phoenix in auspiciousness' cigarette package prints produced by Jinjia Company two years ago include a special process effect - embossing.Friends who have been engaged in flexo printing know that whether the plate is good or bad, straight or slanted, has a great impact on the quality of the product. Not only the printing plate, but also the embossing plate is more complicated.
Flexo printing is a printing principle of round pressing. The embossing is divided into gravure and relief. The gravure is a pattern module made of copper and set on a metal roller.The letterpress plate is divided into two parts, the metal smooth roller and the resin plate. The resin plate needs to be affixed to the corresponding position of each gravure plate. It is difficult to affix them accurately.The texture of the relief plate is relatively fine and can be easily crushed. Therefore, when making the plate, the supplier made two positioning holes on the relief plate respectively. When attaching the plate, two positioning pins are used to fix them in the same position. Just stick the resin plate on the smooth roller with double-sided tape and it's done.When attaching the plate, I found that many of the positioning holes of the gravure plate and the relief plate were not in the same position. The best way is to move the relief plate so that it and the gravure plate can be aligned. In this way, a set of plates can be pasted with difficulty.Within two hours of starting up and running, many patterns were unclear. When I stopped and took a look, it turned out that the relief plate was crushed.Because the pattern is relatively fine, it is easy to break the pattern if it is not applied properly, so the relief plate needs to be replaced.
Combined with the method of attaching the embossed plate, we need to think about how to attach the embossed plate better, faster and more accurately.First, put the double-sided tape on the resin plate, and then remove the back part of the release paper on the double-sided tape, leaving the front part first. In this way, even if the plate hits the roller, it will not be stuck. You can wander around at will.Then align the words on the relief plate with the words on the intaglio plate, gently press the relief plate on the intaglio plate with your hands, and turn the plate rollers so that they are still in a position to bear force. Remove your hands and apply appropriate pressure. , then remove all the release paper that was not removed just now, and stick the entire version on the metal roller. The entire version is considered to be pasted.If it's not stuck correctly, just take a look at its condition. For example, if the relief plate is too low and needs to be moved up a little, then lift the plate up a little from the bottom, bend it upward, and control the balance. Then stick it on the roller.Then lift the plate up from the top, lift it to the position where the bottom was curved, pull it upward with a little force, and gently stick it to the roller, so there should be no problem.During the second production, I followed this method and found no signs of being crushed, but a new problem arose: the double-sided tape was not resistant to pressure, and the double-sided tape under the letterpress plate became damaged after being turned on for a few hours. If it is crushed, the lines will not be clear.The first thing that comes to mind is to use white cardboard instead. First remove the double-sided tape under the pattern, then cut the white cardboard into a shape with the double-sided tape removed, and use glue to stick the white cardboard to that part. In the local area, just paste the plate as you did just now.
Now that the patching is done, let’s briefly talk about pressure and unevenness.There are three ways to do this:
First, the pressure on the machine base itself is not evenly balanced. When manually pressurizing, the strength of both sides is different, and uneven pressure may occur.At this time, you can release all the pressure on both parties, control the intensity, and increase the intensity until it is appropriate;
Second, when padding with white cardboard, the thickness of the white cardboard that can be selected is different, so you should consider changing to white cardboard;
Third, the resin plate itself may have quality problems. When inspecting incoming materials, sometimes the quality of the plate cannot be identified with the naked eye. However, those experienced in pasting the plate can feel it by touching it with their hands. After pasting the plate, if the pressure is light, , you can stick a layer of tape of appropriate thickness on the surface of the resin plate according to the amount of pressure. The light pressure will not be light.But if the pressure is heavy, choose another version.
